HazardHunterPH is among the 75 entries shortlisted from 330 nominations in the Asia Pacific. Each year, in a span of six months, SCAPA identifies, benchmarks, and gathers citizen opinion to determine the best Smart City initiatives in the Asia Pacific. The selection process involves a 7-phase benchmarking assessment to determine the most outstanding projects across 15 eService categories. The judging criteria are: IDC Advisory Council assessment (25%), IDC analysts’ benchmarking assessment (50%) and public votes (25%). One winner will be selected for each of the15 SCAPA categories, including the Public Safety – Next Generation Emergency Services, where HazardHunterPH will compete with four other projects. Cebu City’s Intelligent Traffic Light System is also nominated in the Transport Infrastructure Category.
